KW Civil was engaged to deliver enabling works for the Roebourne District High School Redevelopment — an important investment in regional education infrastructure. The project involved bulk excavation, site clearing, placement and compaction of imported fill, and construction of pad foundations.
Unsuitable subgrade material was encountered early in the excavation phase. A geotechnical reassessment was carried out on-site, followed by additional compaction testing to ensure compliance with design specifications. These measures were essential for maintaining long-term ground stability under future school structures.
Midway through the program, supply issues threatened to delay fill placement. KW Civil mitigated the risk by sourcing material from alternative local suppliers and maintaining stockpiles to support continuous progress. This proactive approach kept the schedule on track without compromising quality.
All pad constructions met geotechnical requirements and passed inspection. The project was delivered with no safety or environmental incidents, reinforcing KW Civil’s track record for reliable, standards-driven civil delivery.
