KW Civil removed an obsolete wastewater sump, along with plant equipment, associated concrete, and support structures. Stormwater pipework was rerouted, and affected areas were backfilled and remediated to match surrounding levels.
Complex demolition challenges were addressed using specialised techniques to remove structures safely without damaging nearby infrastructure. A full utility survey and GPR detection were carried out before excavation to ensure safe pipework routing.
All materials were sorted and recycled where possible, supporting sustainability goals. The job was completed ahead of schedule and without safety incidents, maintaining continuity across the broader site program.
