Karratha Lubricant Facility

KW Civil was engaged by Viva Energy to support the development of a new lubricant facility within the Karratha Light Industrial Area. The works involved bulk earthworks, cut and fill, and trench excavation for underground services and backfill.

Despite periods of heavy weather and unexpected subsurface rock formations, the team maintained program certainty through clear communication, rapid geotechnical assessment, and precise removal using specialised equipment. Utility services were carefully mapped to avoid disruption and ensure smooth delivery.

The project was completed ahead of schedule, with specification-grade compaction and no safety incidents. All works were carried out in compliance with environmental regulations covering dust, sediment, and noise.
