Reconstruction of a strategic industrial access route, including road replacement, line marking, and service coordination.
KW Civil was engaged to upgrade the main access road to East Intercourse Island, a critical route for heavy vehicle traffic within the Dampier industrial zone. The project involved full surface replacement, line marking, service locating, vacuum excavation, and traffic management planning.
The team worked closely with utility providers to ensure accurate identification of underground services ahead of excavation. A detailed traffic management plan was prepared and approved, allowing roadworks to proceed without disruption to operations in the area.
The new roadway was delivered to specification and passed inspection on first submission. All works were completed on time, with no incidents and in full compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
