Concrete Conveyor Tunnel Construct

KW Civil was contracted to deliver a structurally sound concrete tunnel enabling efficient movement of materials through a constrained logistics corridor. Scope included bulk earthworks, tunnel excavation, formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pouring.

Variations in subsurface conditions along the tunnel alignment presented engineering risks. These were addressed by conducting further geotechnical assessments and adapting the foundation design to include advanced waterproofing and structural stabilisation.

Modular precast components and in-house fleet resources allowed the team to fast-track installation while minimising site congestion. Despite access limitations and variable soils, the tunnel was delivered to specification with minimal disruption to operations. Positive feedback was received from the client and end users on both the execution quality and project efficiency.
